Pork Is Our Passion
At Britt's BBQ, we take a great deal of pride in all of our products. We've spent years perfecting our process and creating a signature flavor that's all our own. You just won't find a more tender, flavorful Barbecue anywhere else. It's all about using the right kind of charcoal and wood. It's about using the right cuts of meat. It's about combining the best mix of ingredients in our dry rubs to compliment the natural flavor of the meat. It's about the right amount of time and temperature. It's about adding just the right amount of sauce to enhance the 'que without covering it up. It's a combination of all these things that makes Britt's BBQ stand above the rest.

Our Pigs Are Saucy!
We've taken years to perfect a tangy, sweet BBQ sauce that combines Eastern NC vinegar-based sauces with the sweeter Western NC, Nashville and Kansas City sauces, plus a little bite of cayenne heat at the end. We can't reveal all our ingredients, but it's still very much North Carolina flavor. This unique taste combination makes our sauce work on most any type of meat from pork to chicken and beef. We believe in sauce that enhances the natural flavor of the meat rather than covering it up. While we love our sauce, we don't like to drown food in it. But there's always plenty extra on hand so you can add all you want to have the way you like it best. You'll have to taste our sauce to believe it. Once you do, you'll want to keep some at home all the time!
Award-Winning BBQ That's Never Rushed
There's aged Hickory in our smokers. Then we invest the right amount of time for each cut of meat that will render it to perfection. Our pork butts, for example, are smoked and roasted for 10 hours or more. Ribs can take 4-5 hours and cooking a half or whole pig is an all-day affair.
Low & Slow is How We Go®. It matters. -

Ribs! Ribs! Ribs!
One of our specialties are St. Louis style Pork Ribs. When they're done right, they can cause tears of joy and moans of pleasure! We season them and slow-smoke them for 4-5 hours until they almost fall off the bone. Then we coat them in our signature sauce and grill them until the sauce caramelizes. They'll Rock Your World!

Goodness Comes From Our Neighbors
We believe in supporting our local economy first. We partner with other local and regional farmers, purveyors and vendors to bring the freshest, best tasting Farm-to-Plate experience to our customers. All our meats and available fresh produce comes from right here in North Carolina. Any products not locally available come from certified sustainable farms or cooperatives where we can trace the product to the source. We know it's fresh because we know the Farmer that produced it. Our sauce is bottled in North Carolina with as many ingredients as possible coming from NC. Even the labels are produced here! We take every effort to ensure our expenses and proceeds are recycled back into our state.
